Healthy Living & Good Eating Expo May 4, 2013

The Austin Healthy Living and Good Eating Expo will feature educational sessions on healthy living, Diabetes, exercise and other health related topics, Healthy and Natural Products, Services, Food, Snacks, and Activities. Plan to have a healthy Brunch, Lunch, Dinner or Snack from our food vendors! The Expo is on May 4, 2013 from 10AM -0 8 PM at the Wozniak Community Center on the campus of the St. Louis School (across from the Northcross Mall on Burnet Road at 7601 Burnett Road, Austin, TX 78757).

Portions of the gate receipts, and food and monetary donations will be accepted benefiting Mobile Loaves and Fishes, and the Food Pantry which provides meals to home-bound and underprivileged families and individuals throughout the Austin. For a limited time, discount admission vouchers will be available on the web site. Senior citizens, above the age of 65, will be admitted free. Admission is $3 per person and $5 per family.

CiCi’s Pizza  at 1901 W. William Cannon Dr. will host a special Guest Appreciation Day on Monday, Feb. 18, to say “thank you” to its loyal guests. The restaurant will offer special $2.99 pricing on an adult endless pizza buffet, featuring pizza, pasta, salad, soup and dessert, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The restaurant is locally owned and operated by CiCi’s Pizza franchisee Greg Smith, who has been with the CiCi’s family for seven years. Smith focuses on building long-lasting relationships in the Austin community by partnering with local schools, churches and the city throughout the year.

„It has been a privilege to serve the Austin community for the past three years, and I look forward to many more,‰ said Smith. „Our loyal guests have continued to support us, and this event is our way of thanking them for being such great neighbors.‰

CiCi‚s Pizza offers nearly 30 pizzas in rotation, in addition to pasta, salad, soup and dessert on its endless pizza buffet, normally priced at $5.49. Every CiCi‚s restaurant makes each pizza by hand using house-made dough, sauce made in small batches with special herbs and seasonings, freshly grated cheese and crisp vegetables.

The restaurant is open for dine-in and carryout Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

.99 cent Bagels w/ Cream Cheese at Austin’s NEW Bruegger’s this Sunday!

There’s a new Bruegger’s in town. The new location will be handing out their famous, New York-style bagels with cream cheese for 99 cents this Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

The bakery will also sell its popular Bottomless Mug Trial cards (good for unlimited coffee, tea or fountain drinks through the end of April!!) as a fundraiser for the Westlake High School PTO.  The trial cards will go on sale when the bakery opens at 7 a.m. and all proceeds from each card sold will benefit the organization.

FREE Pizza for a Year from Cici’s – Anderson Lane Grand Opening

CiCi’s Pizza will host a grand opening at its newest location located at 2525 W. Anderson Lane in the Northcross shopping center on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. The first 100 guests to purchase an adult buffet on opening day will receive a FREE pizza buffet each month for a year. Hundreds of wallets will be dropped in the area for residents to find with a free buffet coupon tucked inside.

Adult buffet will be $5.49 and 15″ one-topping carryout pizzas will be just $6.99.

Chipotle To Give Away Film Passes/Producer Badges To Austin Film Festival
